There are so many wonderful moments! The first time Chaylie brought me a flower she picked, she ran super fast along the wood floors with a huge grin on her face and her hand held high in the air with the flower... breastfeeding and her touching my face, falling asleep in the sling... painting with her outside, looking like rainbows afterwards... oh there are so many wonderful moments!

when I was pregant with Adam I worte down every movement he made. Then he was born and when he started sleeping through the night it scared me I kept getting up during the night to make sure he was still breathing. Sometimes he would cry and didn't want anything except for me so he slept on my chest. I miss those days

To date, my favorite experience as a mother is breastfeeding! For me, nothing could be more tender, bonding and relaxing than cradling Francesca in my arms, stroking her hair and staring deep into her mesmerizing eyes while she nurses. She's becoming more independant everyday and soon she won't need "mama-milk" anymore. That makes me sad, but I know that the moments shared while breastfeeding will be some of the most precious, sweetest memories I'll ever have!
